By default, we get the basic histogram when we review each photo on the Nikon D90. A couple of articles were actually devoted in the past about getting the most out of those colored graphs. In addition to the default, I finally discovered that you can actually view photo data and even picture highlights!
This trio set of information sure gives amateur photographers like us a much needed helping hand to learn from our every shots.
- Highlights - Risky areas that are subjected to under or overexposure will blink upon enabling it
- RGB Histograms - See my previous articles.
- Data - Display camera settings, time, date of shot, including metering, focal length etc.
