Apply steps in unison:
- Switch to a big aperture lens (e.g. Nikkor 50mm F/1.8D which is sharp and cheap!)
- Set the minimal shutter speed to match the inverse of the focal length on Nikon D90 (e.g. 50mm equates to shoot at a minimal speed of 1/50 second)
- Activate delay exposure mode on custom menu to stabilize the mirror movement before shutter release
- Apply all posture, breathing techniques in my last year's blog article
- Activate the 2-second delay timer for your shoot so as not to introduce shakes due to pressing the shutter release
- Use a flat railing, building edge for camera placement if applicable
- Activate NR for high ISO on the Nikon D90
- Shoot in NEF RAW that mistakes can be reversed in Aperture 2 in post processing
