Macro photography belongs to those with an inquisitive mind and eye for details and its, in my opinion, not everyone's cup of tea. Even after a few shot attempts, you are promptly rewarded with an extremely tiring eye, not to mention blurred shots.
As what everyone would advice, you are better off shooting macro with a tripod, one that allows micro movement of the ball head. And hey, the Live View sure come in real handy at this point of time. The depth of field gets so narrow its frightening what each jot will do to your resulting image. So much pain to gain some!
Here, I have an exquisite chop stick holder, one that you will usually find in fine eating places serving fins of sharks, monkey brains and stuff. Shot handheld very close to the closest focus limit of the Nikkor 60mm F/2.8D. 1/60 second, F4.
