Maybe, its a slip of my mind but I have found using Google Maps so valuable in planning my shoot trip that you should too!
From where you will stay to pinpointing the next location for shoot, its all easily done with a simple search and save sequence. From which, you can even share the entire plan map with anyone with an email account.
With this tool, it has help shorten my trip planning by at least half and provided me a map that helps me navigate the location without looking like a tourist.
